Description
An attempt at a fancy logo iterating this old piece again. Seems to have been appropriately titled for how much I return to it.
This one was actually started around 2008. One of those works I toiled obsessively at for some days and then a problem, a further interest or just plain irritation pulled me away and it was left to loiter in my hard drive all the years hence. So tidying up my art folder a bit I found this one and decided since I didn't recall it being too away from some measure of completion, I could pick it up and finish it quickly enough. Easier said than done. First I had to contend with the hitch of having a new computer build and now using Illustrator CS3. Inbetween raiding the file of Palaeos Final for some layout guides, I installed fonts I'd neglected to completely carry over from the old computer and found some nice free Greek ones while at it. Then a confluence of my lack of practice and Illustrator's shortcomings had me repeat work several times figuring out how I'd done some tricks and wondering why it wouldn't save expeditiously. Turns out saving as PDF compatible really gummed things up so that's a setting I'm not likely to use ever again.
As usual have your say on what logo version you think is more appealing. I'll take suggestions for new iterations and consider what works in further explorations.
